How the Extension Works

When you click the GEO Checker icon:

• The extension injects a content script into the current tab
• The script analyzes the page's HTML, structured data, and metadata
• All analysis happens entirely within your browser
• Results are displayed in the extension popup
• No data leaves your device

Permissions

GEO Checker requests the following Chrome permissions:

• activeTab: Required to analyze the current page when you click the extension icon. This permission only grants access to the tab you're actively viewing, and only when you explicitly click the extension.
• scripting: Required to inject the analysis script into the page. This allows us to read the page's HTML and structured data for analysis.

Third-Party Services

GEO Checker does not use any third-party services, APIs, or analytics platforms. The extension is entirely self-contained.

Data Storage

GEO Checker does not store any data locally or remotely. Each analysis is performed fresh when you click the extension icon, and results are not persisted.

Children's Privacy

GEO Checker does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.
