Creating a new website with PageSmith is simple and fast. This guide will walk you through creating your first project.

Creating a New Project

1. Navigate to your dashboard - After logging in, you'll see your project dashboard
2. Click "Create New Project" - This opens the project creation dialog
3. Name your project - Give your website project a descriptive name
4. Choose your starting point:
   • Start from scratch - Begin with a blank canvas
   • Use AI prompt - Describe your website and let AI build it
   • Choose a template - Start from a professionally designed template

Using AI to Build Your Website

The fastest way to get started is by describing your vision to our AI:

1. Click "Create New Project"
2. Select "Start with AI"
3. Describe what you want to build, for example:
   • "A modern landing page for a SaaS product"
   • "A portfolio website for a photographer"
   • "A restaurant website with menu and contact form"
4. Click "Generate" and watch PageSmith build your website

Project Settings

After creating your project, you can configure:

• Project Name - Change your project name anytime
• SEO Settings - Set meta titles, descriptions, and social sharing images
• Custom Domain - Connect your own domain (Pro plan)
• Export Settings - Configure how your website is exported

Managing Your Projects

From your dashboard, you can:

• View all projects - See all your websites in one place
• Edit projects - Click any project to open the editor
• Duplicate projects - Create copies of existing projects
• Delete projects - Remove projects you no longer need
• Share with team - Invite team members to collaborate (Team plan)
