Creating a new website with PageSmith is simple and fast. This guide will walk you through creating your first project.
Creating a New Project
- Navigate to your dashboard - After logging in, you'll see your project dashboard
- Click "Create New Project" - This opens the project creation dialog
- Name your project - Give your website project a descriptive name
- Choose your starting point:
- Start from scratch - Begin with a blank canvas
- Use AI prompt - Describe your website and let AI build it
- Choose a template - Start from a professionally designed template
Using AI to Build Your Website
The fastest way to get started is by describing your vision to our AI:
- Click "Create New Project"
- Select "Start with AI"
- Describe what you want to build, for example:
- "A modern landing page for a SaaS product"
- "A portfolio website for a photographer"
- "A restaurant website with menu and contact form"
- Click "Generate" and watch PageSmith build your website
Project Settings
After creating your project, you can configure:
